The Tokyo Sailing and Social Club
Sailing is for everyone! We are a non-profit social club based in Japan, aiming to bring sailing to a wider audience. Our structured programs will cater to the seasoned sea captain, the casual sailor, or the curios water-lover.
Tokyo Sailing Club
Multiple tiers and programs exist in our sailing club. These tiers cater toward the different levels and frequencies of sailing which we will undertake.
The top tier, the Admirals, is for those who desire to be on the water as frequently as they want, irrespective of weather or conditions, either with their own boats or otherwise. These Admirals will also teach sailing to the other members.
The second tier is the Captains, which caters to seasonal casual sailors, but those who are serious about the sailing aspect.
The third tier is the Ensigns, beginning level. This membership is designed for beginners, novices in sailing, and will utilize specialized boats to get people on the water for their first experiences with sailing. Activities also include those that help members become more familiar with the water.
The Social Club
Outside of sailing, we will hold regular events in the Tokyo Area. Network with other like-minded global and Japanese people and contribute toward a positive good. Charity fundraising events will be held regularly, and we will also hold members-only Barbecues and other outings.
Though we are a sailing club, we are not one of those stuffy high-class sailing clubs for the elite of Japan. This is a club for everybody. A club by the average person, for the average person!
