A seaside adventure, but not far away from Tokyo, in Kanagawa.
We provide affordable, easy access to sailing and marine sports.
We will offer everything from small two-man dinghy sailing (no license needed) through mid 40-foot cruising sailboats through opportunities to take a group vacation on a tall ship.
Sailing, our core focus
The saying goes that the worst day sailing beats the best day working.
While technology has taken sailing to new levels, our sailing programs are designed to develop a sense of camaraderie, enjoying the ocean and the wind at reasonable speeds.
For those who wish to go all out, we definitely support it. It’s all a function of membership interest.
Other wind & water activities
We also support a number of marine-related activities that may not be specific to the type of sailing we do.
These are all a function of the level of interest by the membership.
We are currently working feverishly to get “boats in the water and bums in boats”.
But where?
That’s top secret for now.
Where we sail
What we don’t do
There are a number of ocean related activities that we definitely don’t do.
NO’s: These are a hard no: jet skiing, bass boats, house boats.
We enjoy the ocean and the wind. And we only use engines for auxiliary power and to run a rescue skiff.
MAYBE’s: Surfing, SUP, kayaking.
There are a few activities that are easier done by oneself. This could be considered if membership shows significant interest. And they would fall under the social club set of activities.
Own a boat?
Have your own boat, and interested in taking members out? We would love to hear from you.
If you’re interested in purchasing a boat either individually or as part of the group, that’s also something we support including if or when you leave Japan: we may buy your boat from you.
